New cupcake purse added to the shop as well

If you can't tell- I got a glorious new camera for my birthday/anniversary present and there are no words to describe how much I love it!!!! Even for a photography-challenged girl like myself- this thing takes mighty pretty pictures!!

I finally added a shopping page!

I am slowly moving away from custom work for a variety of reasons but the main one being that I can't stay up until 2am anymore and ignore my husband and kids while I sew like a maniac ;). I will still make lots of items and take custom order dresses. I will slowly start building and tweaking my shopping page- I added 3 items tonight and you pay through paypal. The Cupcake Purse

It's a little ridiculous how many purses and bags my 4 year old has but I seem to always come up with another reason that she needs just ONE more!

Because I'm a huge proponent of including her ideas in things that I make for her, I asked what kind of bag she had in mind and "cupcake" is what popped out of her mouth. I have to admit it was a pretty fun idea to design.

She uses this bag for her water bottle and snack on some days and then to pack all of her art supplies to take on the road on other days. It is a good size for her- about 12 inches high and 9 inches wide. The bottom is slightly mitered which gives it a small, flat bottom so it holds books nicely too. The little cherry on top closes with an elastic loop that is easy to close with her tiny fingers. It's also super easy to throw in the wash!

Summer Tote-preview for "H"

This is the Summer Tote style that I make for Blossom and Poppy but this particular bag is for "H"!! I drool over these fabrics together- I hope you do as well "H". Thank you so much for everything!!! I really enjoyed seeing you!

The Julie Wristlet (with convertable messenger strap)

This is another custom bag from Mary's purse party that I had so much fun making! Julie wanted a wristlet but also needed a messenger strap (genius!!). In order to make sure there wasn't a ton of bulk where the two straps met, I added a loop to the messenger strap that she can slip her wristlet strap through when needed. Then either strap tucks away smoothly!
